This passion led him to pursue further specialization at the Guru Nanak Eye Centre, New Delhi, where he honed his skills and knowledge in eye care.
After completing his initial training, Dr. Amrit earned his Master of Surgery (MS) degree in Ophthalmology from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, where he continued to excel in his studies and practical experience. His journey in the field of ophthalmology took him to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital, New Delhi, where he gained valuable hands-on experience dealing with a variety of eye conditions. Dr. Amrit later went on to complete his senior residency at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, where he was able to expand his clinical expertise and learn under some of the best minds in the field.
Dr. Amrit’s thirst for knowledge and his commitment to improving patient outcomes led him to further his education internationally. He successfully passed the FICO (Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology) Part A and Part B examinations in London, UK, a testament to his dedication to his craft. Additionally, he received specialized training in dry eye management and allergic conjunctivitis from international faculty at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London, ensuring that he remains up-to-date with the latest advancements in eye care.
But Dr. Amrit’s contributions don’t end with just his clinical practice. His passion for helping others extends beyond the clinic, and he has volunteered his expertise as an eye surgeon with the Lifeline Express – the world’s first hospital on a train – providing essential eye care to underserved communities across India. Dr. Amrit has also served as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled and compassionate eye care professional.
