Dr. Abhishek Raut is a skilled and passionate Optometrist with strong clinical expertise in binocular vision therapy, pediatric visual care, and optical dispensing. A graduate in Optometry from Sharda University, he further honed his skills by completing a Fellowship in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy at the esteemed Visifert Eye Hospital.
Dr. Raut’s clinical journey began at Sharda Hospital, where he gained hands-on experience in primary eye care and visual rehabilitation. He later served as a Consultant Optometrist at Vedanta Netralaya, where his dedication and excellence earned him the title of “Best Optometrist”.
Currently, Dr. Abhishek Raut is working as a Consultant Optometrist at AIIMS, New Delhi, and is in charge of the Eye Department at the National Centre for Ageing (NCA). His work at AIIMS highlights his leadership in managing age-related visual disorders with care and precision.
Dr. Raut is also an academic contributor and co-author of the book Community Eye Health: A Primer for Eye Health Professionals, a valuable resource for budding optometrists. He has also published an insightful article on Amblyopia management in pediatric patients, further showcasing his commitment to evidence-based practice and research.
